A Journey Through Our Story
Damaris Distributing shoeboxes to children in Africa
On the streets of Senegal during a mission trip with Operation Christmas Child, Damaris found herself on the other side, distributing similar shoeboxes to children in need.
As she handed out those small tokens of hope, she saw firsthand how a single gift could light up a child’s world. This experience reignited a deep sense of purpose within her.
A New Beginning Rooted in Love
We have been blessed with a profound gift. The Way of Christ Ministries entrusted us with their legacy, passing the torch to Love Gives 3:16. On February 21, 2020, we humbly took the next step on this journey and became a registered Canadian charity.
With this transition, the original board, who served with dedication and faith, stepped down, and we embraced a new chapter by appointing a fresh Board of Directors, deeply committed to carrying forward the spirit of Christ's love. This marks the beginning of something greater, a mission of giving, compassion, and faith, shining even brighter than before.
Completed projects
1. Provided essential relief to those affected by the war at the Ukrainian border.
2. Renovated and revitalized the Disabilities Centre in Orhei, Moldova, creating a more supportive environment for those in need.
3. Spread joy during the holiday season by delivering Christmas gifts to elderly individuals and underprivileged children in Arad, Romania.
4. Offered critical assistance and support to the homeless and needy in Poienesti, Vaslui, Romania, bringing hope to those living on the margins.

We remain committed to supporting the vulnerable, delivering essentials to families, and creating lasting change through projects like orphanage and school construction in Romania. We’ve brought so much joy to 120 children through the gifts we donated and also helped 15 families of mostly widows sending them food and detergent. We also managed to change the entire roof of the building will be the new orphanage also with the money sent from Love Gives 3:16. For all these things we extend our gratitude and we wish that God will bless you abundantly, that having all things to the full, to continue to do good.
